- WHY MY GRANFATHER’S BED IN OUR LIVING ROOM?، directed by Sarah Al Hashemi
About the film: The film portrays the story of an Emirati family who lost their ancestral home due to community development plans focused on modernizing the city. As they recall the sudden loss of the family house, it is apparent that a century old wooden bed, which is the only tangible memory that remains, is a poignant feature of their story. The family’s deep attachment to both the house and the bed intertwines, weaving bittersweet memories that linger in their hearts.

About the film: After 15 years of averting the source of her anxiety, Mariam at last walks the journey of voicing her avoided emotions regarding her non-Emirati mother, and the uneasiness she felt about her mixed background in the Emirati society.
- OSHA’S GIFT, directed by Hind Abdullah
About the film: Ashwaq Abdullah is a successful Emirati artist who discovers a new sense of what art means by attending an art therapy session and befriending Osha, a very special girl.
- THOUB, directed by Raihana Al Hashmi
About the film: An abused tailor teleports to an affluent customer’s world through a magical dress.
- MAIHODA, directed by Mariam Al Zaabi
About the film: The film takes place in a house garden where a little girl, Reem, and her blind grandfather spend most of their time. Reem has a wild sense of imagination, and has befriended a stuffed animal rabbit, a doll, a goldfish and most strangely of them all is a tree. Reem’s world collides when she thinks that her best friend the tree is dying. The film follows Reem’s journey as she tries to save the tree. It also explores the relationship between Reem and her grandfather.
